Pearl is a female dane. Update: Pearl is such a sweetie! She finally felt well enough for a bath thisweekend and she is SO happy to be clean! She has a pretty piebald coatandcropped ears. She is 7-8 years old, but very young at heart. She getsalong well with other dogs of all sizes and has wonderful house manners.She will stay quiet in her crate, but prefers to out with her family. Shewalks nicely on a leash, rides quietly in the car, and even behavesperfectly during ear cleanings and toenail clippings! She has just beencleared of tapeworms and is currently waiting out her heartwormtreatmentso that she can start going on the long walks she craves. Pearl doeshavea protective streak, and has scared away several strangers with herbark,but she is actually just a loyal dog who wants to protect her family,andprobably wouldn't hurt a fly. She currently has an upper respiratoryinfection, but seems to be feeling great. She is a wonderful apartmentdog, and would be perfectly happy just sleeping on the couch all daywhileyou are at work. She is just an all around great girl! Update: Pearl is such a sweetheart! Everyone who meets her instantly adores her. She is so attentive to her people and asks for love and gives it rightback. She likes to walk up to anyone on the couch and rest her chin onyour chest and look at you with her big eyes that scream, Please Pet Me!Pearl is recovering nicely from her surgery and is feeling well enoughto play. She has been very well behaved with all of her foster brothersand sisters. She often curls up with one of the other danes and takes anap. She is incredibly tolerant of the puppies in the house and isusually ready to play with them. Pearl gets along with everyone andeverything. She is well behaved and eager to please. She is going tomake a wonderful addition to a family that is willing to share hergolden years.
