We’re pleased to report that Millie has gained 11 lbs in 7 days! It seems her infections are finally under control and the vet is pleased with the overall improvement in her skin, though he has decided to put her on an oral anti-fungal medication to help with her face. She has a long road ahead of her – once demodetic mange gets this bad it’s difficult to rein back in so we may be looking at another six months to a year of treatment before she starts to resemble a normal dog.

Millie continues to improve through top-notch veterinary attention, financial aid from GDRNT supporters, and the love and care of her fantastic foster family and based on the smile on her face in this picture, we feel Millie knows just how lucky she is.
