This year has presented so many challenges for all of us. Like all foster based rescues, GDRNT has had to adjust and figure out how to continue while adhering to CDC guidelines to keep our volunteers, adopters, shelter personal and shelter staff safe. Everything from shelter pick ups to adoption had to have new plans and procedures. Because of our amazing volunteers, fosters and donors we have been able to continue saving Danes in need.

Banana was a puppy when she came to rescue a few years ago when she had her photo shoot with Margaret Bryant. Banana is now Willow and has grown into a beautiful lady living large with her amazing adopted family.

GDRNT is especially grateful for our foster homes because without our qualified foster families we simply could not save so many. If you are a past GDRNT Foster who would like to open your home or if you are curious about fostering please email us at [email protected]
