HELP! We need temporary foster homes now.

We are currently overrun with Danes who are in emergency boarding needing to be moved to a foster home. With the holidays coming, our boarding space is severely limited and all of these dogs need to be moved out of the vets' clinics soon. We are running in emergency mode, meaning we may have to limit our intake of new dogs - meaning Danes will begin to die because we have no space for them!

FOUND BECAUSE THE OWNER PUT UP A JILLION MISSING FLYERS AROUND TOWN! dogCane is lost in Lewisville since 10/23/03 with no tags on his black collar. He is 5 years old, albino with a few spots. 150 pounds - very tall. Shortly cropped ears that do not stand but press down on top of his head. Last seen down College Street.

One-Eyed Jack: A Special Soul

One-Eyed Jack

Abandoned in the backyard of his now deserted home, the dane we affectionately call One-Eyed Jack survived with another canine companion until rescued by the Humane Society of North Texas who immediately called us to release him to our rescue for his rehabilitation. Jack was frightened, combative and confused. He reeked of infection, had green goop dripping out of his empty eye socket, and had knots and abscesses all over his body.

Amanda - Trash or Treasure?

Amanda Before
Amanda Before
