Emergency Garage Sale !

Our funds are dangerously low and our medical expenses are abnormally high due to the never seen before high numbers of heartworm positive dogs in our care and several special surgical cases we currently have. We are having an emergency garage sale to try to raise funds to keep our rescue strong. If you have stuff to donate, please call 817-651-2336 or email info@danerescue.net to let us know. Sale will be on Saturday June 19 at 1508 Fuqua, Flower Mound 75028.

Doc appreciates your help so he can be pain-free!

DocDoc's ear has been chronically infected for so long that it is completely closed up and he needs a $600 surgery to open it up again. Thanks to several generous donaters, we've reached our goal and we can continue to help danes like Doc who need special medical attention. Doc has had his surgery and is doing well!goal

We need your help!

Over 60% of the adult Great Danes currently in our program have heartworms. This treatment costs us $235 per dog (which is a HUGE discount which we are given by our vets) for a total cost of $3525 so far out of our pocket. If you have been thinking about donating to our rescue, please do so now. Summertime is notorious for low adoptions and high intake of Danes. We desperately need your help to continue to stay open and treat these dogs! Send checks payable to GDRNT, PO Box 54601, Hurst, TX 76054.

EMERGENCY FUNDS NEEDED!

I need surgery!goalThis 4 year old male dane (named Frick) was hit by a car and brought to a local animal control facility. They have released him into our care. He has a terrible skin infection, severely emaciated, and has a fractured acetabulum (the cup in the pelvis where the head of the femur sits). His fracture needs to be repaired by a surgical specialist in the next week for the best results.

After the downpour the rain stopped and the dogs ran, swam, barked & drooled their way to exhaustion! We netted $3900 for the Great Danes in need in our rescue. THANK YOU ALL! The grill winner was present and pleasantly surprised (Mr & Mrs.
