Our first Annual DaneFest with over 65 people and 6,082 pounds of dane there was a smashing success!!!!

All said that it was well worth the drive and they are glad they came. We had over 55 danes and several other breeds were represented too. I think many owners were surprised at how much their danes enjoyed swimming in and chasing each other around and through the pond.

Events included a successful Microchip Clinic sponsered by Dr. Kutch of Creekside Animal Hospital, Certificate of Appreciation Awards to volunteers and fosters, and a special award to Dr. Kutch. Other events were planned but everyone was enjoying socializing that we decided to post pone them for another time.

We are still taking orders on the T-shirts which will be white with the “Kiss Me I’m Dane-ish” logo on the front and “1st Annual Great Dane Rescue of North Texas DaneFest March 17, 2002” printed on the back. T-shirts will sell for $20 and come in sizes S,M, L, and XL. Please include $3.50 postage so we can mail the tshirt to you. I
