Marching into April FURever Homes

For our intake team April came in and and went out like a lion. Things around here don't seem to be letting up so to bring everyone up to date on all the PAWsome FURever homes we are gonna do a big FURever PARTY Post! We want to CONGRATULATE Elvis, Frosty, Hugh, Olive, Rocky, Rudy and Bailey!

Frosty and Rudy were the last of their litter to make it official. Those who have been following us know Frosty had to have emergency obstruction surgery, and Rudy had to have a deformed eye removed..we wanted both babies to be fully recovered before we made it official. Both Frosty and Rudy are doing great in their FURever homes and growing like dane puppies do! We are pretty particular about our puppy homes and want to be sure the families are knowledgeable about giant breed puppies and what can come with Double merles.

Elvis has left the building! Elvis was not from our rescued litter but he too found an experienced puppy home who understands the importance of positive training and making sure your puppy is a well mannered family member.

Hugh, Olive and Rocky are what we consider active teenage pups. These guys all over to play and made great progress in their respective foster homes and they all found families that will continue their training and have active homes to keep everyone busy! Teenagers can be so much fun and these guys all found the perfect families.

At last I want to share Bailey's FURever story... Bailey was with GDRNT over 13 months. THIRTEEN MONTHS. While I cannot say enough about her PAWsome foster family who worked with her and helped her be the Diva Dane she should. Bailey needed a special home with no small animals, really Bailey wanted to be an only Diva Dane and have her people all to herself. I honestly had gotten used to her not getting picked when matched so when a sweet couple wanted to meet her I was cautiously optimistic. Can you say match made in heaven? HOLY DANE Bailey took to this couple like she knew they were her people and while her foster family was sad to see her go we all could not be happier for Bailey and her FUREver Humans.
