Sometimes things just work out...

When I first started with GDRNT a wiser more experienced (but much younger) lady would say to me "it will all work out.. it always does." Initially I thought she was nutz.. (she probably is but in a good way) but she was right... it does always seem to work out. So it was with Ares. Ares is a sweet and lovable dude with good manners and grasp of basic obedience... he also suffers from one of the toughest cases of separation anxiety we have seen in some time. He managed to break out of three different kinds of crates in two days and needed a special foster home who was home alot and had experience with anxiety. It took some wheelin and dealin but our rockin fosters and volunteers made it happen and Ares was placed in a foster home who could manage his anxiety. At times he was a challenge even for this specialized foster home but this family was determined. Well today that determined foster family became Ares FURever family! Initially I was surprised that this family would want to adopt him after all they fully understood his anxiety but they LOVE HIM and he has made such amazing progress with them. So in a way I didn't see coming it all worked out! So please congratulate Ares, his GDRNT alumni furbrother Tucker and this amazing FURever home !
