Double or Nothing

(insert drum roll here)
Guess what? Annie and Magnum must have a guardian angel that works over time because the perfect FURever home has been found and adopted them together! Today they are in an amazing home with a family who simply adores them.

Not only have they adjusted well to their new FURever home they are blossoming! This pair is loving life with a family who loves the perfect amount of playfulness and maturity displayed by these two.

Adoption is FURever. At least that is the presumption on adoption day. After going through our approval/matchmaker process adoption day is full of excitement, joy and love with the addition of a new FURever family member. Like many rescues GDRNT understands that sometimes unexpected, traumatic live changes may mean FURever is not possible. GDRNT's adoption contract provides for a GDNRT dane to come back into the program. Never will a GDRNT dog be without a safe place.

So it was with Annie & Magnum. Major changes in their Family meant that they could no longer provide a home for them and they were returned to GDRNT foster care. This is always a sad day for us as it brings into the program a dog that was meant to be FURever.

These two have been together a long time and we worried how they would do apart. Would they adjust after leaving their home and having to be separated? Very rarely do we get applications able to take two older danes at the same time.
