Noah's Home for the Holidays

Noah came to rescue on a particularly rainy day. His transporter had to outmaneuver flash flooding to get to and from the shelter and then to the vet for Noah's intake exam. In spite of his exciting entrance to rescue, Noah turned out to be one of the easiest fosters in recent memory. He tested heartworm negative, had no significant health concerns, and simply needed to be vetted, neutered, and evaluated before he would be ready for his new family. Plus, he was great with everyone he met - pets included. And did I mention that he's quite the looker?

You can imagine our confusion when his first couple of matches did not end in adoption - great adopter, great dog, just not the right match as it turned out. But, when an awesome past adopter applied to add a Dane to their family, we knew why Noah was still with us. He had been waiting for his perfect match.

At the adoption meeting Noah greeted everyone gently, sniffing and asking for attention. Noah was quickly drawn to his new dad and buried his head into his dad's lap so that he could soak up attention. It was clear to everyone that Noah was home, just in time for the holidays! Now he has a wonderful family to call his very own.

Congratulations to Noah and his spectacular new family!
