We picked Davey up last week from Creekside. He is about 6mths old, all black, big square head with dark slanted eyes. This little has been a blast at our house. As many of you know we have a houseful of adult Danes and one mini Poodle. Davey fell right into the group. He can be a little pushy with the big guys, but they remind him he's low man on the totem pole. He has caught on to basic commands really quick, walks on the leash rather well for a puppy. He has been to Pet Smart and Home Depot with no incidents. He is super friendly with everybody. While we were out walking one evening, he did meet up little kids, sniffed and licked. No jumping or nipping. At first he was a little mouthy, that has pretty much stopped. He has discovered toys and can entertain hisself pretty well. He has learned to "Dane sit" on the furniture. Crates up great and seems to be ok in the crate. Davey is a little thin and has some skin issues, but after a medicated bath, skin seems to clearing up. I believe he was found on the road dehydrated and covered in ants. Maybe roamed the streets for awhile. This little guy is going to make someone or some family really happy. He is so easy going, does not seem like we have a 6mth puppy in the house---he goes with the flow.
