UPDATE 12/15/08: Things are much better thanks to all the great info i got here. PHEW! Thank goodness for you all!
I broke my ankle in October and have been in a wheelchair since. I ended up flying to Florida (family) for a few weeks with my daughter to give my husband a break (wonderful man...terrible nurse). Anyway, when I got back just over a week ago I quickly noticed that Barnum was acting aggressive towards Bailey. Barnum will not allow Bailey to enter certain areas and growls if Bailey tries to come close to me. It was like coming home to a different dog. Barnum has always been my 'shadow' and as a stay at home mom we spend a lot of time together. My husband says he didn't notice the growling until I got back. The worst part is it TERRIFIES Bailey and he cries and curls up on the ground like he is actually being attacked :[ I think part of the problem was that while I was gone my hard working husband didn't have the time to supervise the boys and Barnum ended up running the show. Please reply with any help you can think of.
