Hi all!
Jinxie was beautifully crate trained...she'd go in and out of it all day to take her naps, then I let her up on the bed:(
But only to take naps while she still slept in her crate each night in our room with us and stayed happily in it when we left the house.
We'd tell her "Mommy and Daddy have to go out", (This would sound awful to anyone but all of you!) and she'd happily go right in.
Not now!! Last Tuesday when I got home she had torn up everything inside her crate! There was a small piece of poop, so we cleaned everything well and replaced her bedding. She's never, ever done that before.
So she doesn't want to go in it at all, doesn't even want to come near our bedroom at bedtime. If I'm successful at getting her in, she just stands there and pants! I corrected her many times, had her lay down and a few seconds later would be standing up panting again. It seemed on Friday that she was doing better, and of course we haven't slept much. I went out and when I got home just an hour later she was standing in her crate panting and had torn everything up again!
I have been putting her in the crate while I'm home for about an hour and she still does the same thing but is crying too!? I just let her cry, but it rips my heart out!
I am going to take her to the vet tomorrow just to make sure there's nothing wrong since this was so sudden!
