Hi my name is Angie and we are a new owner to a Great Dane named Kane. We just received him yesterday. We are actually having two seperate problems. The first is our Yorkie which has never shown aggression to any other dogs is not happy to have him here. Our neighbors had an emergency and had to leave their dog at our house and our yorkie just loves him they play together all the time. But whenever the Dane gets around him he tries to bite his face. The Dane does not respond back what so ever just continues to sniff/try to play. But we took Kane to PetSmart today and every dog within eyesight he would start barking, growling, and jerking trying to get at the dog. I'm not quite sure if he just wanted to play or if he wanted to hurt the other dogs. He was neutered just yesterday. The trainer at Petsmart said her dog wasn't neutered so maybe that had something to do with it. But he was doing it to other customers dogs as well I am not sure if they were fixed or not. Also he is about 20 lbs. underweight any recommendations to safely put the weight back on him would be GREATLY appreciated. Another rescue suggested plain white bread but my vet. said that is a no no. So now I just don't know. We are first time Dane owners so any other help is also appreciated. Thanks so much
