We are all volunteer. Nobody gets paid for their work with us. Donations are always welcome. Income tax receipts are available on request.

We are non-profit and recognized by the IRS as such.

We only work via donations and grants.

We only adopt to approved adopters.

All Danes have ALL of their medicals done before they are adopted.
(if not, you will be informed about it beforehand).

All of the Danes are in peoples homes for at least a couple of weeks, if not longer. We learn a lot about them this way and can place them with confidence.

All Danes are microchipped.

The MINIMUM donation required to adopt is $170.00. We prefer that you donate more when adopting.

Danes typically eat between 5 and 7 cups of dry dog food per day. That equals about one 40lb. bag every 2-3 weeks. The food we recommend is Nutro Lamb and Rice. Each bag typically costs $26-$30.00.

Danes are house dogs. They are not meant to be left outdoors all day/night.
