I have not posted pictures of Gandy lately, so here are a couple of the latest. Gandalf loves his babies. He cracks us up when he gets them and squeeks and squeeks them.

Wonderful
Wow, Gandalf is really doing great! I wish we had obidience classes here. All we have is Petsmart. I'd really love to take Jinxie to a formal class, everything she's learned with us has been by us and believe me we are not experts!
What are the dance classes? Jinx stands up on her hind legs too, but only when strange dogs and people come past her in HER subdivision. I really think she believes it's her territory cause we're walking so often without seeing anyone, that when she does, she thinks their in her space, ha!
Please tell me more about her training and the dance classes!
Dancing
On utube if you can find freestyle dog dancing you should be able to see what we are trying to learn. There may be a link on the topdogdallas.com site to see the trainer and her dogs. At this point, we are just learning the moves....I sing and Gandalf howls.....haha
Amazing!
Thanks for the explanation! I enjoyed utube and can't wait to see clips of you and Gandalf dancing!!! The part where he goes between your legs should be extremely entertaining, ha!
Ellen, Loyd and of course Jinxie!
Therapy visits
He is doing well with his therapy visits. I think I posed that he passed the test with my son, so he can do the visits, too. We have only been to retirement homes so far. We have been to Plano, Dallas, and Richardson. Gandalf needs to have one more observed visits with me and two more with our son before we can go to different places. I am looking forward to going to the libraries and places with kids. We are still doing the freestyle dance classes. We all love those. Gandalf has learned tons of tricks. At the last therapy dog visit, we got to do several tricks for the ladies. Gandy loves to do his tricks and they love to see him. His spin really got to them. They wanted to see him stand on his back legs. He did, and we got lots of OHHHHHHs. The ladies tell my son that they bet Gandalf is as big as he is, but the funny thing is Gandalf out weighs him by almost 10 pounds. We are also going to advanced obedience classes. I need the remedial class, but Gandalf is ready to move to the gifted class. Gandalf has enriched out lives so much. We are able to do things with him that we never thought we would be doing. The entire family loves him, and can't imagine our life before.
He's gorgeous!
I'm a bit partial cause Gandalf and Jinx look like they're from the same litter...and both Therapy dogs!!!
I too am interested in where you two are doing your Pet Partnering and how you're doing? We're working here in Killeen at Kidz Therapeaz with one boy who's Autistic. It's really amazing what a difference Jinx has made in his life!!
We were also invited to work at the VA Hospital in Temple. It was so wonderful being there. We have to go through the hospitals volunteer orientation, but when we do we'll be working on the 2 hospice floors. I expect it will be very emotional, but I'm always so impressed with how Jinx transforms to a higher, calmer level of being when we go "to work"!
Please tell us how you two are doing with your work!
Aww, how cute.
Aww, how cute.
His coat
I still can't get over how shiny his coat is!
How is he doing on the therapy dog visits? Which facilities are you going to?
