I wish I had known about this website. I just ordered Zoey a new collar and tags earlier this afternoon. Everyone wants to look their best for Danefest! I can't wait to see Shaeba again. Beside's my Zoey, she is my new favorite Dane.
I just send for two collars from collar mania as well! I got Demus a Nylon one and ebony a leather one with all the stones and such! I'll post pictures when they get them
I got both Chad and Shammy new collars too. Shammy's is of course, Shamrocks and Chad's is a Burberry plaid that matches his fawness! Of course, after I got them, I decided their tags looked shabby, so I ordered new tags to match the collars as well!
Sadly, I am missing Danefest, I turn 35 that week and am struggling with it, so many many months ago booked a trip to New Orleans for Jazzfest to drown my sorrow in drinks, food, and music! Take lots of pictures!
You are simply gorgeous and to be JUST 35 - SIGH...I will be turning 57 in May, and believe me I would LOVE to turn the clock back and be 35 again...it is your time to blossom so embrace it and enjoy it, as time slips by so quickly...I remember a line from a movie, that said, "It is important to know when it is your time, and to make the most of that time" I believe Sara you are in that time...enjoy relax and embrace life, as this time will pass by so quickly....and by the way HAPPY BIRTHDAY
I will be 35 this October, and yes it IS depressing. I have not yet been to a Dane Fest so I am really looking forward to it. Hopefully my old ladies will be social and make some friends. Shaeba was a total snob when she went to the dog park once. I may bring our IG as well... He loves to play and I am sure will feel like a pimp with his two hot bigger older women with him!
Hope to see you there, but please don't bring the IG. The dogs need to be at least 40 lbs or so since there will literally be TONS of running danes along with lots of people trying to get out of their way.
To ALL, don't forget to preregister so that all your paperwork will be submitted and we won't have a huge line of people and pups trying to get in.
Also, don't forget to keep selling those raffle tix!!
Oh, I didnt realize it would be an issue. He is a big boy about 30lbs, grey up a on a farm and lives with 2 danes. He has been run over by a baby horse, attacked by an angry goose and butted too many times to count by our goats ( with horns! ) I don't want to cause any problems so he can stay home, I just didnt want you imagining the typical IG out amongst the danes.
