I feel like a terrible mom. Yesterday morning we took all 3 dogs to the dog park and we noticed a few hours after getting home that Olive and Moose's paw pads were coming apart and they had a few scratches around the top area of their paws. This isnt our first time at the dog park, but the dogs were running extra hard through gravel/sand/mud/grass so I am sure it wore out there paws. I bought and put spray bandange and paw protector slave, but they keep licking the darn thing off.

I read on a previous posting to wash the areas with warm water and soap and that it was OK to allow them to lick the area, but is there any other suggestions for a speedy recovery? and how to prevent it from happening again because we do want to take them to the dog park again...
