UPDATE OCT 15
BAILEY IS ALL BETTER. THANK GOODNESS!

Last night Bailey started limping. At first I thought it was a minor thing because the limp was slight and he didn't seem to bother him. But within a hour he was not walking on that leg and was whining/whimpering. Off to the ER vet we went and after the vet examed him she thought nothing was broken and suggested pain and anti inflammatory meds saying x-rays were up to me. We decided to have the x-rays done to be sure and thankfully they are normal. The vet thinks he has a soft tissue tear. Barnum and Bailey play rough together. They get up on their back legs and wrestle standing like two bears. They take turns running up to each other from behind and dragging the other one down by biting his butt and jumping on the back like a lion would do to a gazelle. (I'm thinking letting them watch Animal Planet was a mistake!) Add in the zoomies and romping around...it was bound to happen I quess. BOYS! Bailey is comfortable and zonked out by the meds which he will take for the next five days. Has anyone had a dog with this kind of injury? How long does it take to heal? Any advice or suggestions?
