My senior terrier curled up on a heating pad left on the couch and her stiff body turned to a mush puddle of happiness. My heating pad is designed for dry and moist heat so I assume a little drool won't zap her. Does anyone know if it's safe to use a heating pad on dogs? How much exposure should she be limited to...times per day? It is undeniable it comforted her and although she is senior (that was like five years ago) ...geezer (that was what we called her stage three years ago) and now ancient (the last year) the vet says her heart/liver/ect is all within normal limits. I'd like to give her this little warmth treatment joy but don't want to harm her.
