Hi Folks!

We are replacing the floors in our two story home next month and having a bit of a dilemma on what to put in! Riley, our 3 year old Dane LOVES doing zoomies up and down the stairs, upstairs into the loft, downstairs into the great room, back upstairs into the loft, etc etc - get the picture. Currently the stairs and loft is carpeted, then we have runners strategically placed at the bottom of the stairs into the great room (downstairs is all wood flooring) so he has figured out how to make with his zoomies. We really want to go ALL WOOD, but yikes! wood stairs would mean disaster for Riley! While we do have a limited budget, I originally thought about a carpeted center down the stairs, but that alone cost more than just redoing all the floors! : ( anyone have wood stairs and a Dane that does zoomies with success? LOL... any suggestions, feedback???
