Yesterday we were walking in the park by our house - we go down through the trees on this small trail and cross a creek where the dogs love to play. over the past warm months it's started to grow up and i've wondered if we'd see a snake sometime. haven't ever seen one down there but...
B had his first encounter with one - he saw it first slithering through the stumps and of course had to go check it out - we were screaming and he was poking his nose down towards it - thank god it was on it's way out! it never turned on him, and we finally got him away.
me, not being the snake person at all (deathly afraid) ran on with the dogs and claire stayed back to look at it and thinks it was a water mocassin. ewww.
thank god for B that the snake wasn't interested in playing that day!
