Quick update and a question...

I know I have been terrible about posting pics and updates, but I just wanted to drop a line and let everyone know that Kingston (formerly Tug) is still doing great! He is a total lover and HAS to be wherever we are! He and Sophie get along really well, but he doesn't seem to know how to play with toys! Sophie loves whipping stuffed animals around, but he won't join in the fun! Poor guy! Lol. They are really good buddies, though. :)

Anyway, it has been a hectic couple of months. We moved to Waco, which brings me to my question...do I post my new address here, or do I need to email it to someone? I just want to keep all our info current! :) Also, I think we were supposed to have a tag or something mailed to us after we adopted him, but we never got it....just wondering! :)

That's it for now, and I PROMISE I will get some pics up here soon!! :)

THANKS!!

I loved Tug. He was a sweetie in my house. Please do not post your new address here. Email it to contact [at] danerescue [dot] net so we can get it in the spreadsheet.

b didn't play with toys

when we got b from those horrid people who "couldn't keep him" he didn't know how to play with toys - i guess he never had any! but he learned to play with them, dissect them, do amputations and all of that! he also learned to wag his tail, ride in a car, lay on the couch and all those fun things.
hopefully kingstom will learn as well!

mine either

when we got our first dane, cowgirl, she was afraid of everything, including the remote and cameras, and of course she wouldn't play with any toys. after a while, she became less afraid but she never did like playing with toys.

our reilly isn't good with toys either. he will only pick one toy and play with that until he mutilates it enough that we have to take it away. right now he's got an "eyore" that we brought back from yosemite. it's stuffed, and has noisemakers in the feet and snout.
eyore now is reduced to just a head with a de-stuffed body and flat feet. he still loves it so we can't get rid of it.

don't be surprised if kingston doesn't play with toys, just give him lots of hugs, that's what they really want. some day he might surprise you and just start playing with something.

Oh My Sweet Tug-a-Lug!

How I miss you so...
I was Kingston's (Tug) foster Mom. He also never touched a toy in the months that I had him. I just don't think that he knew what they were for. I'm so glad to hear from you and that Kingston is doing well. Please keep us updated now and then. Pictures would be great.
