Opinions on Dirty Dawgz

So I am really tired of breaking my back trying to clean 3 dogs. Dirty Dawgz has been mentioned here a few times, and I found out that there is one in Houston. I was hoping that I could get some feedback from everyone about their experience there and tips about the place before I make the 30 minute drive there.

Thanks,
Tayyaba

Dirty Dawgz

I originally came across Dirty Dawgz, when I started to foster Great Danes. I had Gus, I live in an apt, and he needed a bath! I went one time and tried it out. I have been there ever since. Also the owner and founder has been very supportive of GDRNT and we do all the microchipping clinics at her locations (this started microchipping) Then, I was looking for a part time job, and now I work for her! I bounce around from all the locations, and I love it! I bring Katie to work with me and she "helps" me. If only she could be put on the pay roll too...since she works so hard. HA! Anyways, the tubs are designed to be very easy to get a Dane in and out of. Shampoo selection is great, and you choose depending on your dog's skin type. The one in Houston is a franchise, so is not "owned" by the same owner here, but she is very particular about who she lets franchise, so it should be just as good. They will clean the ears and clip the nails for you too!
Hope that helps....

They are great. Set up is

They are great. Set up is very user friendly, the owner is always friendly and super supportive if GDRNT as wel as rescue in general. Try it and I think you'll like it, especially in the winter.

The Best

I totally understand where you are coming from. Bathing 3 Danes in the backyard is not my idea of fun. We load ours up and bring them down the street to Dirty Dawgz. At the one by our house, they have a small gated area where we stash the pups and then take turns giving all 3 of them baths. The staff has always been super helpful with everything and I think the free nail clipping alone is worth it. lol. Seriously, it takes the two of us about 40 minutes or so from start to finish to bathe 3 Danes and it is much more efficient and way less messy than doing it at home. I like the puppy perfumes they have too. It makes the dogs smell extra good. : )
