Hi all,

Most of you know of the feral cat that had taken up residencey under our deck. As a matter of fact she's been there for over 2 years!!! She's had 2 litters under there. We captured all temporarily, the kittens got adopted and mom was spayed, vaccinated and release, just to return.

Well, I've started feeding her once a week and now she's starting to spending more time on the deck and in the yard and it's driving Jinxie nuts! My ultimate goal is to have her join our family inside and out. I've named the cat Siena, and as soon as she hears the back door latch she runs under the deck, until yesterday. She actually stayed out when I came outside and talked to me briefly. Later she came up to the window, only to be startled by the sounds of the garbage truck!

I know a lot about cats but nothing about socializing a cat and a dog! Jinxie is really good with other cats not in her home space. I know it's going to take a while to do, but any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Loyd is even coming around to the idea!!!
