guard! This past weekend we were over at the farm and there were some yearlings running loose. I had Bambi and Shaeba on their leashes and a couple of the horses came up to them out of curiousity. The horses are not sure what to think since the dogs are bigger than they are. Anyway, Bambi was standing beside me panting, not even paying much attention to the horses and then suddenly snapped at ones face. She didnt grown or show any other signs before she did it. Later, she did growl at another one that was in a pen. She is great with small dogs and cats but not miniature horses. Go figure!

She is also protective and I guess I would say borderline aggressive on a leash. When we go on our walks, her mohawk goes up whenever she is barked at by a dog in a yard. She doesnt really do anything else but I do laugh because she is so used to which houses have barking dogs, her mohawk pops up regardless if the dog is actually there or not! She has a great memory!
