My harlequin has had some bad luck. Last weekend she had a case of exploding bottom, so she was crated for a couple days until we were sure it wouldn't happen in the house. Anyway, while she was in the crate, the very tip of her tail split open from whacking it against the side of the crate. I've been putting neosporin on it and trying to wrap it with gauze and medical tape. She chews off the gauze every time and continues to open the wound up every time she wacks her tail on anything. My house looks like a crime scene...
Anyway, does anyone have any creative ideas on how to heal my pup's tail up quickly? I'm hoping to avoid the E collar route....
