Greetings and a question!

Hello GD crew! I thought that I would introduce myself before asking my first (of what I am sure will be many) questions. My name is Nik and am a 27/28 (tomorrow) y/o male and I live here in Lubbock. I am single with a roommate that shares my house and she has a rescued lab/heeler mix and a cat. Both her and I work as Registered Nurses in one of the Emergency Rooms here in Lubbock. Because of my crazy work hours- 12hr shifts/ 4 days a week- I have been looking at an adult Dane that will not cause chaos while I am at work. I have always loved the breed and have finally positioned my life to where I can adopt a Dane and look forward to doing so. I have been working with GDRNT and hoping to adopt a wonderful friend to call my own.

With that said, I am getting items together in order to have my house ready so my Dane can make themselves at home right away, hopefully making the transition into a new home easier! I have picked out a crate already based of what I have read on this forum but am now looking for a dog bed for around the house on days that I am home. I have found a couple of beds on http://www.drsfostersmith.com/ that look great and are large! My question is what would be best type of dog bed- a traditional flat bed, a bean-bag like bed, or a bolstered bed?

Thank you all for your help and look forward to meeting some of you when it is adoption time!
