I took Drizzt down to the Arts Festival last Saturday and wow was he a hit! He's always been an attention grabbing dog but that night was crazy. I felt like a rockstar! I had a crowd of 3-5 people gathered around us the entire night. He loved all the attention and he even did pretty well with all the other dogs there.
Many people were interested in danes after seeing and hearing about him and I directed them here to the rescue. Maybe a few of them will end up adopting. It might be worth it to set up a booth next year or maybe even just have a couple people with GDRNT t-shirts take their personal danes. It could be great publicity for the rescue. Just an idea.

another festivals
there's another art festival in ft worth on the 19th and 20th. very crowded tho. might be stressful for the pup.
there's a good one in southlake too but it's on the same weekend as danefest. we usually take reilly and he's the hit of the show.
how much fun
I wish I could take Mo... and I prob could but right now she is still sort of freaky... she does much better with people not always so good about other dogs.. not mean just rude and excited... not an attractive traight in a 150lb (yes we are both porkers) dog!
