The new site and all has made me think about the fund raising issue again. Is it possible to set something that allows donors to give on a monthly basis (such as $20 or $25 a month) similar to other groups like St. Jude etc? I've seen some sites that allow a person to choose an animal to sponsor until they are adopted and then they move to a new animal. Perhaps their log in can have a notation like 'Proud Sponsor of Alphie'?

Many people can afford to give reasonable amounts monthly so over the course of the year can donate more in total by this method than the occasional small gift when an immediate crisis comes up. It might also offer a more predictable revenue.
