if you've been reading jamie's blog, you'll see how much we need to replenish our coffers any way we can. here's a way you can help by donating your time out at the speedway during race weekend:

GDRNT has again been offered the opportunity to work at the Nascar events on April 3-6th (Thur-Sun). Volunteers will be working the gates, checking coolers and/or backpacks for glass containers.

There’s no training required (except to show up an hour early for a briefing) and GDRNT will earn $8 for every volunteer hour worked.

The only requirements are 18 yrs. minimum and you MUST wear black slacks/shorts and black shoes. Shirts are provided daily.

After your shift you are able to find a seat and watch the race. Parking area is provided.
