Hey all,
Just wanted to give you an update on sweet Samson. It's been about a year now since we adopted him (Christmas '06) and he's doing so well! It has been a lot of fun to see his personality grow and develop. It seems that just in the last few months he has really felt completely like he belongs to us-- he's gotten so much more confident about everything and "talks" to us a lot (he was pretty quiet when we first got him). I took him to PetSmart the other day and it really struck me how much more confident he is-- he's never had big problems with people and being petted and everything, but he was a little shy/nervous with people sometimes (esp. with guys). Anyway, when we were shopping it just occurred to me how much of a change it is to see him running up to perfect strangers and begging to be petted. I had to inform him that not EVERYONE wanted to pet Samson! lol He's such a good boy.
We bought him a couch this past summer and he's quite the couch potato-- with all the chilly weather lately, he's really been enjoying the fact that his couch is right under the heating vent. Completely spoiled rotten... =)
Anyway, sorry I've been out of touch for a while. Just wanted to let his foster mom and everyone know that he is doing just fine!
