Today we went on a brief hiking trip at Turner Falls Park in Oklahoma.
We have been working on socializing Robbie with both humans and animals, and I believe today was a sampling of our hard work paying off. Even when we first got Robbie, he was very sociable to humans, but he was exceptionally good today. We met with a number of surprised and amicable hikers who were eager to say hello to him.
We also went to Arbuckle Wilderness and took him on the drive route. He saw wildebeests, emus, ostriches, llamas, ibises, dromedary camels (stole most of the food), zebras, hyenas, timber wolves, and small donkeys. I think he's learned to take things in stride, because even when a llama drooled on me in the car, he didn't seem to mind.
I created a small album with a few pictures I took.
Soon as we got back home, Robbie fell asleep on his favorite love seat and hasn't moved since then.
