It's been over a month now since we adopted Onyx, I just wanted to give a little update on how things are going!
Onyx is still loving his sisters Zoey and Shyanne, it's funny to watch them because where ever Onyx is, zoey wants to stand right under him, they look like a big black puzzle! He just licks or nuzzles her, I have to get pictures of it, it's too cute!! Shyanne has finally decided that he is an ok guy, but she still doesn't like the kisses he insists on giving her! Onyx has continued his nearly perfect behavior, on top of learning sit and stay he now knows laydown and go to bed!! In fact the only time I struggle with him is bath time and when it's time to clean the "gunk" out of his eye! LOL My daughter thinks it's hysterical to set her barbies up on his back as if he was a GIANT barbie horse, and thankfully he has given up on eating them in the process.
We had a family BBQ this past weekend and Onyx was certainly the center of attention! There were plenty of complements and praise for his looks and behavior! He also took it upon himself to show everyone personally what the Dane Sit was all about. Good thing my family is so dog friendly!!
