So for all of you who were waiting for pictures of "Tonka" on the available page, sorry to disappoint...okay, I'm not reeeaaalllyyy sorry. Lol. While I was in Florida in March, Carter went to pick up our new foster at Ohio Dr. whom he nicknamed MacLovin'. Long story short, he's the best. He gets along great with Ninja and Hank and just stole our hearts. After much consideration, we decided to keep the little (140 lb.) guy. He's about a year old and is VERY much still a puppy. I feel like we're going to start catching up to La Herd soon if we don't get control of ourselves. : ) Seriously, this is the last permanent dog. Fosters are still welcome (I think 4 Danes at a time will be fun...maybe?) but we are through for now with adopting. I don't even know what will happen when we add babies to the mix, but that's a long way away. : )
So, here are some pics of Mac (along with Hank and Ninja). He went to Waggin' Tails Doggie Daycare today to start his socialization with other dogs (he gets really excited when he sees another dog) and I'm posting a pic of him and his new girlfriend, Susie, who is an Airedale rescue that they have there. They played for 6 hours straight and he did great with all their dogs! Enjoy the pics and come meet Mac at Purple Cow on Saturday!

It's official...yea!
I am so happy for you both and also happy to hear you will still foster! That's the only bad thing about foster failures is we usually lose a foster space! Kudos to both of you and your fur babies and I love Mac's name! :-)

That's what cute is...
What a handsome face he has!! It never ceases to amaze me how they can just instantly become a part of the family and get along with everyone. I just LOVE his big floppy ears!

Congrats!!
He's such a cute boy!! I love the last picture of him. Is taking him to doggie daycare helping him with the socialization? Just curious because Julius is the same way. He gets so excited when he sees another dog that he can hardly contain himself and starts jumping up and down.
Awesome news
Although it's not really news...Carter has said for some time now that Mac isn't going anywhere :)
Congratulations guys! He's a wonderful boy and couldn't ask for a better place to grow up!

Congratulations!!!
And only 6 more to go!!! It is so easy to keep adding "just one more" until before you know it, you have a herd!!! LOL. Mac is really handsome. I have a special place in my heart for the merles, and fawns and brindles, and mantles, oh, what the heck, I love them all. Give Ninja, Hank and Mac a big hug from the herd.
