Hello All!
I don't know if you remember Gabby. My girl was the Harlequin that had the wound (thought to be a gun shot but probably an arrow) in her neck and the horrible infected mounds of ooze on each of her rump cheeks. I just thought I would give an update as to our goings on in the last couple years. Gabs is absolutely wonderful, she is such a happy girl! She and Gar, her brindle boyfriend I had already, love each other so much! It really is funny because they act like a married couple, she gets on to him and he protects her- you know the normal relationship give and take. We had a crazy year last year and our house burned, but can I say the dogs did so wonderfully! Especially Gabs as it was only 3 months after the adoption. They were having to live with me in a hotel or stay with my parents alternating weeks and she was a champ! Gar of course thinks he belongs anywhere and everywhere, he is very secure, so no problems there, but Gab was great as long as her man was by her side. She is definitely a woman's dog as she follows me or my mom around constantly,(which makes my stepdad jealous), and she loves house work. She wants to help fold clothes, take the dust rags, and steal the kitchen towels- not to do damage but she is a nester, she loves pillows too. When I clean she is right there with me.
I will try to post a couple of pics of them together on the couch, so bear with me. I just wanted to thank you guys again for the wonderful Girl you guys saved for me and Gar!
Leelyn
