Thanks to everyone who posted regarding Dozer's skin problems. Good news--he seems to be scratching less and less each day. Usually around bedtime and early in the morning he scratches the most. However, during the day it has gone down significantly. Hopefully the diet/antibiotics will keep working! He has also noticeably put on weight even in the 3 days we have had him now. His spine isn't as visible and his sides are slowly filling out. Also, Nathan and I are now dedicated followers of Pedigree Dental Bones. We bought him some when we got into Houston on Sunday because his teeth needed some serious work. We gave him one each day that we have had him and WOW what a difference! His tartar is almost completely gone on his back teeth and canines.

Can you say spoiled???? Sure, sure you can.
'Dat boy doesn't know what has hit him!
He is real sweet and deserves it. Hard not to spoil him. Glad his scratching has calmed down.

thanks for the tip...
...I use a different brand of dental bones and they don't seem to do anything for my 14yr old Terrier's teeth. She has to get her teeth cleaned every year and as she gets older she seems to have more issues with the anesthesia. Of course my vet say, 'you know if you brushed her teeth weekly with special gel I give you'...It would be safer to brush an alligators teeth! Anyway, happy to hear is all is well with Dozer:)
