We all had a great time at Fort Woof Dog Park, today. We sold lots of raffle tickets and microchipped 31 dogs! Whoo-hoo! That's 31 more dogs that will be much more likely to get back home if they are lost. The weather was cool at first, but warmed up a lot. I got LOTS of puppy kisses today!
The dogs were so good (even Harley who really didn't want to be in a crate with all those other dogs around). Harley, Clara and Violet are all beautiful and really set a good example for GDRNTs dogs.
Our volunteers today were fantastic. It was good to meet Agnes and Chevi, you guys were great.
Our next microchipping event will be after DaneFest weekend, at Hound Dog Hustle EARLY in the morning on the 25th where we will also have some fosters to meet, and also at Dirty Dawgz in Plano at noon (just chipping, no fosters).
If you haven't been volunteering much at the events, please consider it, it's a lot of fun. Not a lot of work. All you have to do is hang out and chat about Danes and dogs in general. Even the set up and breaking down of our equipment is easy when there are plenty of hands to go around.
Susan, do you have pictures from today?
