**Updated with photos. My sweet Sadie girl smiling :)
So, my worst fear has come true....Sadie has malignant cancer. My heart breaks for her everytime I think about what a horrible life she had up to this point, now this. I just held her and loved her and played with her as much as I could last night. I think she knows that she is loved and that makes all the difference in the world to her.
I don't know too many details and certainly know nothing about cancer. I'm simply relaying the info I received. Heather is working on finding this beautiful girl a permanent foster home where she can live out her days with love. Unfortunately, we are not that home.
I have some new photos of her, but left the SD card at home, so I'll post them later tonight or tomorrow. She has gained some more weight and gets more and more affectionate each day (if that's possible!). She plays with toys now and loves playing with Scrappy, the Pomeranian. If you didn't know she was ill, you would never be able to tell by her actions!
So, say a prayer for sweet Sadie girl. I'll give her a hug from each person in GDRNT. :)

SO sorry
I am really very sorry to hear this news. Pam, it has to be real hard that this happened to your first foster. I will say a prayer for you and Sadie and hope you both will be ok with the outcome of this horrible news. As you said, she will know love and companionship, and probably not remember the horrible things before GDRNT. I am very sorry again.
im so sorry

Ugh! I don't think any of us
Ugh! I don't think any of us wanted to hear that. Poor poor girl, this is heartbreaking but at least she is one of the few that got a second chance at life even though it will not be nearly long enough. Nice to know she will spend the rest of her days comfortable and pampered, you know if she could talk she would tell you how much she appreciates all you've done for her. Take care Pam
Thank you Pam
Thank you so much Pam for giving Sadie so much love. I know that she has had a better life because of you. Carter and my prayers are with you and sweet Sadie.

I am so sorry....
Wade and I both adored her when we met her at the Petco event a few weeks ago. She was an absolute doll! I was so excited when I read the post about her activity level going way up after you put the belly band on her too. I am very happy that the final chapter of her life will be full of love.
That's so sad....=(
Poor girl. I'm so sorry. Thank you for showing her love, she deserves it. She is such a sweet, sweet girl.
