Sadie - 3 week update

I promise I won't start new posts every week about this girl and wear you guys down, but I just had to share this!

I took Sadie to the vet yesterday for her spay and tumor removal and she weighed....drumroll please.....97 POUNDS! She gained 26 pounds in 3 weeks! Maybe she won't be so petite after all once she fills out. She's still not a really tall Dane, but she may actually get to 120 if she keeps going at this rate!

I can't wait to get her back home (Wednesday night) and see how she looks without that horrible tumor. I'll post pics once I get her home and settled.

AWESOME!!! Way to go Pam! Can't wait to see the pics.

Great news!!!

Keep up the great work, she's well on her way to feeling great and living well!

Ellen, Loyd and of course Jinxie!

Awesome!~

We love updates...weekly is GREAT! Wow, kudos for the weight gain! Of course after getting that tumor removed, I am sure she will lose some weight just by that going away....it was HUGE!
I hope she has a nice recovery and doesn't mess with her stitches...I fostered a Dane that had a double masectomy (both rows of teats had smaller tumors) and one day it just was nasty with stuff oozing and I flipped out. I don't do well with medical stuff, but sounds like you are an old pro! I know that she will feel even better once that nasty thing is gone!
Congrats again on the weight gain...she looks amazing!

Thanks for the update!

i think Sadie has a special place in all our hearts - even those of us who have never had the pleasure of meeting her. i sure wasn't expecting to hear that her tumor could be removed already - great news~! obviously there's nothing wrong with her appetite....more great news. prayers going up that her tumor isn't malignant; that would be the greatest news of all...
