Miss Daisy

Miss Daisy in HW NEGATIVE! Yeah! We thought we might have to do another treatment this month but when I took her in for her "hemorroid removal" they did another filter test and it came back negative! Also Dr. B removed what I thought was a hemorroid, but instead was a tumor/cyst of sorts. He sent it off for analysis, so cross your fingers that it is good news. You would never know that Daisy had any type of surgery, she is as perky as ever. Since today was so beautiful, we took Daisy, my two small hellions fur babies and my real baby Ryan out for a stroll. Daisy was perfect! I had her and the stroller and she walked right next to us the entire time and never diverted. it didn't matter if people were walking by or other dogs she was there by the side of us no matter what! She is just such a good girl and i think she realy enjoyed the walk after being cooped up. She also laid out in the sun off and on all day. I don't really think she wanted to come in when I called, but I was afraid she would get sunburned if she continued to stay out there! Will keep you poted on her results!

wonderful update!!

That is fantastic news on Miss Daisy! I know Ninja & Hank's family will be thrilled to read this b/c they did her transport. They said she was a sweety. Any new pictures of this gal? I'm sure she'll be posted on the available page once she's healed from surgery. Glad she enjoyed basking in the sun today. It was so pretty and warm! Tomorrow should be close to 80!!!

Diasy is sooo sweet!!!!!

We were lucky and got to have a "sleepover" with Daisy for a night when she came in from Marshall after the vet's office had closed for the day. We met the woman who picked her up from the shelter in Marshall in the Half Price Books parking lot...lol...and Daisy was curled up on the front seat of her truck with a little daschund (also a rescue from the Marshall shelter). She was soooo cute. Since we live really close to Dr. B's, we offered to keep her for the night and I dropped her off the next day at the vet. I felt so bad leaving her the next day but knew that she would end up in a great home. I have a couple of pics of her on my cell phone, but please post some when you can. She is such a beautiful girl!

Fantastic news!

Daisy sounds like a doll. So, so, so happy she's HW negative now! That's such a relief! Just so you know - Don and Lynn's dane, Pearl, had a tumor removed from the same spot and it didnt' slow her down a bit.
