You know I wake up every day and wonder what we did before Mikey came to live with us? He has filled our home with so much laughter and here of late, we have him speaking,(Purr/Growl) on command and if ask him to say "Ham-bur-gurr" he speaks that many syllables! He has learned many silly pet tricks and many he picked up from our Shepherd, Heidi who is the quintessential comic dog. They are the best of buddies and I swear can play kissy face all day with each other!

Mikey was Nora & Kenny's first Foster and they came all the way out to GBC, TX. to do our home visit. I remember that Nora brought me pictures of Mikey that day.......Do you think she may have known something that we didn't, could she see into the future?

We actually got two new additions on our adoption day, Mikey and Mikey's Tail. I swear, the Mikey's Tail has a life of it's own and operates independently of Mikey so we have come to introduce them to new people as Mikey and Mikey's friend Tail! Mikey is so much better behaved than Tail, but we love them both equally!

In closing, we made two wonderful new friends in Nora & Kenny and bless them daily for our Mikey. I love this big silly dog more each day and wish I could have a house full of Danes, Josh just says if we just get a smaller house I'll get my wish!!!!!! Josh got me Mikey for my birthday last year, only four months left to work on him for this year!
