It seems like a bunch of new danes have come into GDRNT and are being fostered but have not been added to the available list yet. Is that because they are HW positive or b/c they are still undergoing evals?

You're right...
There are dogs missing. We're trying to sort out an issue with the Danes Available page. If a dog is tagged as "not available" for a medical reason, then its profile won't display on the Available page. The logic is - if a dane's not available then it doesn't belong on the Available page. Makes sense, logically, but it's not the way we had it set up on the old website. All dogs that had passed evaluation were displayed, regardless of their medical situation. Now we just have to sort out how to make that work within this new site.
We need to get moving on this issue quickly - not only because you need to see ALL your possible future furry children, Stacey, but also because it's the medical needs dogs that require fundraising...and if people can see them, then it's difficult for us to raise the funds to pay their vet bills.
adopting out
There are the newcomers (Danes in), and there are the Danes that are getting adopted (Danes out). Superficially speaking, it looks like the list of available danes hasn't changed since the move to the new site. Are Danes getting adopted out these days?
