My sweet boy was adopted Friday night! The couple who adopted him seemed very excited to be taking him home! They just got back from their honeymoon the day before & couldn't wait to adopt! Bruno changed SO much while we had him. When I picked him up from Shannon at Creekside, he weighed 77 lbs! He was so skinny, he needed help to get into the back of my Envoy. He had a respiratory infection & his eyes were full of green goop! He looked pitiful. 4 weeks later I took him to my vet just to get him weighed. He was at 86 lbs! We celebrated with a trip to the new Dirty Dawgz in Mansfield! He & Annie looked gorgeous! About a week ago I took him to Creekside to have some spots checked and he weighed.........................99lbs!!! They did not recognize him!Eveyone in the office was so excited that he wasn't "skin & bones"! He still has more to gain, but his new family are excited to be able to do that. I am sad to not have him here with us, but he has a great future ahead. Annie is always so depressed when we come home without our fosters. She is ready for somebody new! CONGRATULATIONS, big boy Bruno!!

Super news!
Thank you so much for fostering (and fattening up) that sweet boy! Sounds like he is going to be one spoiled pup! Congratulations, this is what makes fostering worth it!

WOO HOO!!!! Yeah for Bruno!!
Way to go Nora, you did an AWESOME job. Isn't it just the greatest feeling to see the transformation that takes place with these babies. It is truely one of the most rewarding things I do. Do you have any pictures of Bruno, would love to see him.

hope they keep in touch.
Oh Bruno Boy!
Nora called me when they were on the way to the adoption meeting. Let me tell you that these are some lucky adopters. Bruno stole my heart at first sight. He is a very special boy. I hope that he is forever happy in his new home.
