We've had Faleen since Halloween. At that time we knocked on doors, posted ads, and checked her for a chip. Nada. So she became one of our babies. We thought she was a baby. Approximately 4 months old. No one could get a real good look at her teeth until today. She's over a year old! I almost fainted. Then I almost fainted again when we weighed her. When she came to us she was around 20 pounds. She is now 48 pounds!! How I missed the fact she'd grown so much I dont know. I think maybe I didnt want to acknowledge another of my babies growing up! I asked the vet if she was growing too quickly and shouldnt she have stopped growing if she was over a year old and he said no on both counts. I know some dogs can grow for 2-3 years but didnt think Faleen was one of them. As for her weight she was skin and bones when she came to us. Eric now calls her Musclemutt lol She's still an absolute doll. She's wonderful out in public, in stores, at parks, and with everyone from toddlers to seniors. Once again, I am SO very glad she found her way to our patio! If you'd like to see pictures of her and the rest of our four-legged family you're welcome to enjoy the photobucket albums. :) http://s183.photobucket.com/albums/x204/ladydarkpoet/
