Our two new family members!! =) These two boys are brothers and they came into rescue because some horrible, mean person had put their mother along with them and their two sisters inside a box and taped the box shut so they couldn't escape, then put them in the dumpster to die. =( Poor babies!! Luckily someone heard their cries. They are such good, sweet kittens and so cute!! They are four months old right now and are currently at the vets office getting neutered. Anyways I just wanted to share some pics of them. =)
If you guys have any name suggestions I'm all ears, I'm horrible with the naming part. Their current names that the rescue named them was Maximus and Achilles.

...but the first ones that come to mind are Chance and Lucky. :)

How about Chapter and Verse? Or something like Rumble and Tumble? I'm usually pretty good with names but my brain is kind of short circuiting right now sorry. And to think I haven't one Dane but I have 40 names for one! And color co-ordinated at that...maybe I need therapy? Hmmm....Haiku and Rhythm?

...but OMG are they precious! I'm a big cat lover so their pictures are a treat:) What someone did to them and their mother is criminal. But now is the start of the good life for them. Congratulations on your new family members and please keep taking pics.....they are adorable!

If you got them @ the 4th of July.....you might pick some patriotic names......."Liberty", "Justice", "Freedom", or something like .... "Firecracker" or "Parade" or "Banner" or just let your kids put some names in a hat and you could have a family vote:)
Ohhhhh or you could name then after something YUMMY that your kids like......maybe Sorbet or Gelato or Icee

that is so horrible what someone did. i always wonder when i see a box in the road or on the side what's in it becasue so many people do that. i have names for those kinds of people, but this is a family friendly place!

Believe it or not, I have always been a cat person (and Paul had 13 house cats before we met). Those two little guys are so lucky, and look so healthy. Don't be in a hurry to name them, they well tell you what they want to be called.

I'm totally a sucker...
I couldn't help it....their story broke my heart and then when I picked Achilles up and held him he leaned up against me and just started purring and purring. =) He still does this every day, he loves being pet and held. His brother purrs when you pet him but he doesn't care so much about being held or being in your lap like his brother. I'm already so in love with these guys!! =)
