I helped Toonces over to kitty heaven today. He had been eating less and less over the last few months and had pretty much stopped eating in the last few days. He was 18 years old and rather than trying to keep him alive by force feeding him I decided that Toonce was ready to go. It is so sad but I know it is for the best and would rather see him go with me there and somewhat feeling good then dying alone somewhere having starved to death.
