I know this is a huge longshot but...does anyone happen to have any experience with temperamental snakes? Specifically bull snakes? A friend of ours had to move suddenly in order to help care for a family member and couldnt take the snake with them. We're fostering until we can find a really good home for it. We were told it would need to feed almost immediately but it's been almost 3 weeks and he won't eat. He has struck, constricted, and killed two mice but just leaves them laying there. No attempt at all to ingest them. I was wondering when I should become concerned or if this is just normal bull snake persnickety behavior due to having been moved. My snake experience is limited to the red tail boa I had years ago that was even allowed in my bed so I'm not used to such...whats the word Im looking for...active anger? Anyway, if anyone has any advice I'd be very grateful. He's a beautiful snake and I just want him properly cared for.
