Our wonderful neighbor, Adam, has two mini-Dachunds and we have always refered to them as 'Hot dogs'. He is really nice and lets my daughter, Olivia, pet the dogs when he is out for a walk which is a big thrill for her. My three year also loves the kiddie T.V show Oswald and thier is a Dachund character named 'Weinie'. So yesterday at the grocery store as we were checking out, our neighor walked in and on the top of her lungs she shout out while pointing at him, 'CAN I PLAY WITH YOUR WEINIE'. OMG, tallk about a show stopper...people just stared and I thought i was going to die! His face turned bright red and then bursted out laughing...'Japser, Jasmine are Dachunds..or even Hot Dogs but please, please don't call them my Weinie!
