Non-pet related advice needed

Life is a rollercoaster. I hate rollercoasters. We were doing okay. Starting to heal from the losses we've suffered over the last few months. Things were actually looking up. So, we managed to get some decent furniture. Used, but very decent. Hey, when you're still sitting on the floor when you sit on your couch its time for a new one! Even got a free phone in the bargain. Not that it does us any good now. Our phones are off. Electricity and gas are soon to follow. My husband lost his main job so we are trying to survive and thus focusing on paying only the mortgage and bankruptcy with the income from his part time job at McD's. As you can imagine it's going to be very...tight. The advice I need is this: me getting a job. How? I have a little experience here and there but not a lot anywhere. Most of my experience is lifelong pet care. I have a few months worth of shelter work, a few months of hospital work, a few months of deli work, a few months of factory work, 2-3 weeks of fast food work, a few months of sales, a few months of customer service, and a few years of horse farm work. And my highest level of education is high school graduate (I was one of those that got bored with it all and figured I didnt have to do the homework. Im payin for it now!) How do I make that look good? I have never written a resume. I tried and failed so many times. I just thought maybe someone might have a tip or two as I know I'm not the only one to ever go through hard times. Thanks all...
